Natasha has lived in zambia since the age of 8, the country of both her parent birth. From a very young age Natasha talked of being an artist, believing her love of drawing meant this was inevitable.. She later realized it was a way of seeing. She completed her foundation diploma in 2001 and in 2005 she graduated from The Arts Institute At Bournemouth with a 1st class Hons Degree in llustration. Natasha had planned to do fine art but was instead did her degree in Illustration which was broadly structured and allowed her to work with a heavy fine art bias. It was during these four years that her appreciation for materiality and mixed media was developed.
Her work became quickly experimental, layered and process driven. Final outcomes take shape in the form of installation, assemblage, collage, painting and works in print', with text, experimental photography, material and texture interwoven.
Natasha has worked prolifically from her studio in Lusaka, having had five solo exhibitions in Zambia including extensive commissioned projects for the Marriott Bonvoy in 2022. Natasha has taken part in multiple group exhibitions and has shown internationally in France, Switzerland and South Africa,
In addition to having a rigorous studio practice making work for gallery exhibition, Natasha ran an art framing business alongside her studio practice for 10 years.
and continues to deepen her practice through painting, drawing, research, writing and most recently, begin to explore using materiality and form as
